The link in my email says it's invalid or expired
Every link we email — confirming your address, resetting a password, changing your email, deleting your account — works for 24 hours. After that it's dead by design, so an old email sitting in an inbox can't be used against you.
A link can also arrive broken: some mail apps wrap long links across two lines, and tapping only opens the first half. That's what "This link is incomplete" means.
- Ask for a fresh one: "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen, Resend on the getting-started checklist, or start the change again in Settings.
- Use the newest email, so you know its 24 hours haven't run out.
- If the link looks cut in half, copy the whole address from the email and paste it into your browser.
