Two cards look the same to me but have different values

Almost always a printing difference rather than an error. The same artwork can exist as an ordinary print, a reverse holo, a first edition, a shadowless run, a promo, or a Japanese release — and those trade at very different prices.

Check the card number and the small text at the bottom of each card, and check whether the entry in your collection has a bracket after its name like [Reverse Holo]. Condition matters too: an NM and an HP copy of one card are worth different amounts by design.
