Why does my master set include reverse holos and parallels?

Because that's what a master set is — every printing in the set, not just one of each Pokémon. Reverse holos, parallel prints and secret rares each get their own slot.

That's why a modern set's checklist can be much longer than the number printed on the card, and why 100% takes real work. If you only want one of each card, use an ordinary binder instead.
