Cardfolio help

It said it couldn't save, and put things back how they were

Cardfolio shows your change on screen the instant you make it, then saves it in the background. If that save fails — almost always a dropped connection — it puts the screen back to the last saved version rather than leave you looking at something that isn't true. Nothing is corrupted and nothing else is lost; only that one change didn't stick.

That's what these mean: "Couldn't finish that — your collection now shows exactly what's saved" (a bulk change), "Couldn't save the new order — restored your saved arrangement" (arranging a binder; any moves made in the moments after it are undone too), and "That change didn't save — the trade is back to its last saved version" (a trade).

"Couldn't build your export" and "Sharing didn't change" are simpler: nothing changed, so just try again. "This trade is complete, so it's closed to edits" isn't an error — a completed trade is a closed record.

  1. Check your connection, then make the change again.
  2. If you were arranging a binder, check the last few moves — redo any that were undone.
  3. If it fails repeatedly on a good connection, email us with what you were doing. That one's on us.
