Cardfolio help

What are movers, and why isn't my card in them?

Movers are the cards whose price changed most over the last 7 days — Risers on one side, Fallers on the other. You'll find "Your movers" on your collection's All cards view, "Biggest movers" for the whole market on Explore, and "Movers in this collection" on a collection someone has shared.

The percentage compares a card's price now with its typical price over the four weeks before, measured the same way both times. Each row shows the old price too, so you can see the move in money, not just a percentage.

When we change how values are worked out (the "Valuation basis updated" marker on charts), those four weeks start from that day instead, and for the first week afterwards the movers lists stay empty: there's no like-for-like price to compare against yet, and a method change isn't a market move.

The list is deliberately hard to get on to, because a dramatic percentage on thin evidence is the most misleading thing a price tracker can show. A card only appears if it's worth at least £5 (£20 for the market-wide list) and its new price is well supported and has held — so a genuine move can take a few days to show up. Anything over 500% is treated as a data problem, not a move.

Movers are a UK-market feature for now, so on the US market the movers lists aren't shown — in the app, on a collection shared from the US market, or in the weekly email — rather than showing pound figures beside your dollar values. Switch to the UK market to see them. They're the same on Free and Pro.
