What is a Founder (Founding Member), and how do I become one?
The first 151 collectors to confirm their email became Cardfolio's Founding Members; all 151 places were claimed on 1 October 2026. A founder gets every Pro feature free, for life — no subscription, no renewal, nothing to cancel — and a permanent founder number from 1 to 151.
Founders didn't apply: confirming an email claimed the lowest number still free, and signing up with Google confirmed automatically. The places are now all taken, so for everyone joining today Pro is a paid plan.
Your number appears as a seal on your Collector Card, on whichever finish you wear, and so on every collection and trade you share. For card finishes a founder counts as Pro — the early ones are unlocked, and the top ones are still earned by rank like everyone else's.
A founder place can't be sold or transferred. It stays yours for as long as your account does: if a founder deletes their account the number is retired, not handed on, so the 151 places stay closed.
