How much is Pro, and can I get a refund?
Cardfolio Pro is £3.99 a month or £34.99 a year in the UK, and $3.99 or $34.99 in the US — the yearly plan works out 27% cheaper, and it starts with a 7-day free trial. The monthly plan has no trial and starts straight away.
The trial asks for a payment method and becomes a paid year automatically on day 7 unless you cancel, which you can do in the app at any point before then without being charged. We email you before it ends. None of this affects the free plan, which has no card limit and no time limit and is not a trial of anything.
The quickest way in is from the scanner: when your free scans for the month run out, the wall that appears starts the trial in two taps and brings you straight back to scanning once Pro is on. The same trial is on the Upgrade page.
All 151 founding-member places were claimed on 1 October 2026, and Pro has been on sale since. While the founding price lasts, the first 100 members to subscribe get 20% off either plan (£27.99 a year or £3.19 a month; $27.99 or $3.19 in the US), kept for as long as they stay subscribed — the Upgrade page shows the code, and says how many places are left once half have gone. Before the founder places ran out there was nothing to buy: confirming your email claimed a founder place instead, which carries every Pro feature free for life.
Payment is handled by Stripe on its own secure page; we never see your card details. Any tax is calculated and shown there, and promotion codes are entered there. If you're going to be billed in pounds from outside the UK, the Upgrade page says so before you leave for checkout. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel, there's no minimum term and no cancellation fee, and if the price ever changes you're emailed at least 30 days ahead — never for a period you've already paid for.
Refunds: fees are paid in advance and aren't refunded for part of a period. If you're in the UK or EU you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel, which our Terms explain in full. And whatever the law says, if a renewal goes through that you didn't want, tell us within 14 days of the charge and — provided you haven't really used the new period — we'll refund it.
- To ask for a refund, email us from the address on your account with the date of the charge.
- To stop future payments, cancel from Profile → Manage → "Cancel subscription". Pro keeps running until the period you've paid for ends.
