Scanning feels slow, or it captured before I was ready

Reading a card takes a few seconds of real work on our side — that's the wait you're seeing, and it's the same whether you're on Free or Pro.

If it fires before you're ready, it's because a card-shaped object was already steady in frame when the viewfinder opened. Move the card away and bring it back and the lock restarts. Tapping the shutter yourself always works too.
