It says scanning is paused, or isn't available right now

The "Scanning is paused" screen means the recognition service isn't reachable — it's on our side, not yours, and it's temporary.

Everything else works normally in the meantime: your collection, values, binders and the catalogue are all unaffected. Add cards by searching the catalogue and try scanning again in a little while.
